High Borosilicate Glass is BPA free, lead-free, refrigerator-safe and stovetop-safe. It can withstand temperatures from -4°F to 302°F. It is also microwave safe & dishwasher safe, but remove the lid and strainer first before placing inside a microwave. This teapot can be used to brew your own My Cup of Tee, whether it’s loose-leaf, herbal teas, blossom teas, or tea bags. The stainless steel strainer is removable and works great for keeping tea leaves, ice cubes (for iced tea) and fruit slices (for infused waters and flavored teas) from your tea mug. The C-shaped handle is very comfortable to use and is designed to not burn your hand. When the teapot is heated directly on a stove top or burner, the handle could only reach up to a medium-level warmth.
