Eleuthero root, also known as Siberian Ginseng, is an adaptogenic herb that improves the ability to handle stress. Eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus) root extract has been shown to help modulate the activation of the adrenal cortex in response to stress. Eleuthero root extract helps to increase physical and mental endurance. It has also been shown to help improve memory. Eleuthero root extract benefits mental and physical endurance and has anti-fatigue activity. Eleuthero root extract aids in the recovery from hard exercise. Eleuthero root extract has been shown to improve mental alertness and work output, and aids in the recovery from mental exertion. Most people will feel its effects quickly. However, its real benefits are cumulative and long term. Dragon Herbs produces and uses “pure yield” Eleuthero root extract. We use Eleuthero root extract sourced in Manchuria. The root is very woody and has a low yield of active constituents. It takes between 25-45 pounds of raw Eleuthero root to produce just one pound of Eleuthero root extract. This production requires less than 10% excipient to produce. That means that Dragon Herbs Eleuthero root extract is at least 90% pure Eleuthero root extract. Most brands cut their extract dramatically to artificially reduce the cost.
