Astragalus root ranks as one of the most important health tonics in the world. The root of Astragalus membranaceus is used in traditional tonic herbalism to strengthen the primary energy of the body and to strengthen all metabolic, respiratory and eliminative functions. It is a famed immune-modulator. There are currently hundreds of Astragalus products in the American marketplace.
